description:
	We wish to continue the evaluation of 33BM for XAFS experiments. Following on from Request 202 we wish additional beamtime to further our understanding of the beamline. In particular in this run we will focus on supported metal catalysts and dilute samples using primarily fluorescence detection.
	This run will incorporate the first in situ studies where the catalysts are reduced using hydrogen.

hazards:
	Group 8 metals supported on inert oxide supports e.g. 1 wt% Pt on alumina.
	Catalyst will be housed in a reactor and reduced in situ using hydrogen gas. The volume of hydrogen at any one time will be limited to a lecture bottle.
