description:
	Bimetallic nanopartilces of Pt(core) / Pd(shell) and Pd(core)/ Pt(shell) will be synthesized and deposited on different supports (Alumina, Silica, Titania etc.) XANES and XAFS studies will be conducted under reducing, oxidizing and inert environments. The structure of each cluster will be examined as a result of the inversion of the core/shell organization, the environment and as also charge transfer that occurs within the system (cluster and support).
